Sally Adee is a freelance science and technology journalist based in London, and the author of We Are Electric, an exploration of the electrical signals generated by life. She reports on all the places where electricity meets biology, whether that’s the messy state of neuromodulation, the uncanny history of 19th-century electrophysiology, or futuristic agriculture startups using neurotech on plants. She previously edited technology news and features at New Scientist and IEEE Spectrum. Her book is out now in the UK and the US.
